Cultivate Your Purpose:
Immersive Educator Bootcamp
Your Identity, Your Why, Your Impact

As educators, we can easily lose sight of our why, and the deeply personal and foundational values that motivate us and define who we are — especially when we spend so much of our time as educators focused on cultivating our students' growth.

Cultivating and (re)claiming your sense of purpose can help you reconnect with what matters most to you. How can you embrace your authentic self? How can you derive more meaning from your life and your work? How can you make an even greater impact?

With nXu’s Cultivate Your Purpose Bootcamp, we’re building an energized community of educators eager to explore and share their full personal and professional identities. This unique 10 hour immersive program (5 total sessions over 6 weeks) will provide the opportunity to look inward as you level up, holistically exploring your why and uncovering ways to deepen your impact. With an experienced facilitator as your guide and a powerful cohort as your support system, you’ll leave with greater clarity about how to live in greater alignment with your purpose.

Ready to join nXu’s Cultivate Your Purpose Bootcamp?

You should join us if:

You are an educator (including teacher, administrator, district/organizational/program leader, etc.) who works with students of any age, directly or indirectly. You are excited by the idea of continuing or jump-starting your own purpose journey to maximize your impact and find a supportive and energizing community along the way.

(Note: While cultivating your own sense of purpose will position you to more effectively foster your students’ sense of purpose, this is not a technical training explicitly focused on supporting you to implement purpose development programming with your students.)

Purpose matters for us as humans.

We know that purpose is a fundamental root of success, but only 50% of adults have a clear sense of their purpose in life. Adults with a strong understanding of their why, their gifts, and their motivations experience greater life satisfaction, professional growth, and resiliency. Living in alignment with your purpose can improve emotional and physical health, leading to better sleep, longer lives, and more.

Purpose matters for us as educators.

Being a teacher in 2021 is no joke. We know what it’s like to feel exhausted and unsupported. Educators are reporting high levels of anxiety (with fear, worry, sadness, and stress not far behind), and it’s no surprise that 30% of teachers leave the profession within their first five years! The well-being of educators is essential to sustainable and impactful teaching. Grounding your work in your purpose can reenergize you, reminding why you chose this noble profession.

Connect with Yourself to Connect with Others

COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION

When you feel drained, a safe community of like minded peers can be the difference between burnout and a bad day. We’re better at doing our jobs and doing life when we have a support system to lean on. We’re building an intentional space and community, that will allow us to support and hold each other accountable while fostering inspiration and joy.

PURPOSE AS A GUIDE

When you are deep in the work, it’s easy to lose your sense of direction. Now more than ever, we need clarity and conviction, about who we are and what we stand for. Getting in touch with our purpose can help us navigate life’s transitions and challenges, leading to the fulfillment we seek. It’s so much easier to make bold moves when we know how to maximize our impact!

INTERNAL FOCUS, EXTERNAL IMPACT

Taking the time to reflect and look inward can bring authenticity and meaning to your life and your choices, allowing you to lean into your identity and your why. When you’re feeling aligned and connected, you can maximize your impact personally and professionally — infusing purpose-driven curriculum into your work with students can help them cultivate the energy and direction to thrive.

What are educators saying about nXu?

"The energy and joy and community were amazing. Also the process and clear frameworks made it feel tangible and accessible!"

"I'm impressed by how much we accomplished in a short amount of time. The session was well-paced and, not surprisingly, each activity had a purpose. The session was interactive, motivational, and thoughtfully designed. There was clearly a lot of intentionality put into making this session successful."

"This was the most inspiring and empowering workshop I've been to. The facilitator’s voice and positive presenting energy was felt from the very moment it began. I was motivated and excited to do the work. This did not feel like a workshop completed over zoom. It was live, real and full of love!"
